So I had to cut down from over 100 guys trying to talk to me over the first few days and I’ve cut down to 3 guys I liked enough to consider meeting. Here’s the gist of it

Guy 1 (my favourite one who was a politician in our country. Surprised to see him on Hinge. When I realized who he was I was shocked he wanted to talk to me because im a nobody): Went to Portugal and is posting on his story and is not answering me but I’m not trying to come off as desperate so I’m not double texting. He mentioned wanting to see me a few times and even gave me his phone number which was also surprising considering he was involved in politics and had his face put on a magazine here. Kinda bummed ngl but I know he’s in Portugal rn so maybe he’s not answering my last message because he’s travelling?

Guy 2: like him more on vibe. He’s polite over text and jacked. He asked me out on a date a few times and I agreed to set up a meeting/date for this Saturday. Since then, he hasn’t said what time or place yet and is slower and slower to respond and

Guy 3: Just completely disappeared after saying he would set up a time last weekend lmao. I was the last to text and I never got a response. I wasn’t surprised he ghosted me because of the significant age gap.

Is this normal for hinge? These guys say they are looking for permanent relationships, not hookups or anything weird and this is how they act.

They act like pen pals for a couple weeks and then vanish.
